This past week Christopher attempted to laugh...it was hilarious...and he started grabbing objects dangling above him! He can't quite hold onto them but he's getting pretty close! It's amazing how entertaining these accomplishments can be! He's just so cute! On another note, Christopher starts "school" on Monday! I hope he likes it! Also, we picked out his halloween costume...looks like he will be our little monkeypants! Here's a preview!

Mama's Night Out!

Brilliant! Cindy, Kristen and I went to a Pinot & Picasso class last night! It was awesome! It was so relaxing to drink wine with friends and paint! Check out our masterpieces! Also, go to http://www.pinotandpicasso.com/ for more information!

Chris' Besties!

During the past 10 weeks Christopher and I had the opportunity to make many new friends through breastfeeding support groups and educational baby classes. We have had a blast with them all and will miss them once I return to work! Fortunately, we will still be able to hang out with the group on my Fridays off and occasional weekend activities! Here is a picture of Chris' besties from the class! This particular class was on baby sign language!

Christopher Rolls Over!

This morning Christopher rolled over from his stomach to his back! AND it was not an accident...he continued to do it over and over again! Watch below.... we are so proud! ; ) Now we just need cousin Nate to show us the other direction!

Chris finds his hands...

Christopher started investigating his hands...it's so funny! I don't think he quite understands they belong to him. He stares them down (even goes cross-eyed sometimes) and watches them go into his mouth...then he sucks on them! The thumb sometimes pops out but I don't think he knows what to do with it yet. I know Charlie doesn't want him to be a thumb sucker .... but it's just so dang cute so I don't stop him! = )

Terra Cotta Warriors!

Yesterday Chris and I went to the HMNS to see the Terra Cotta Warriors! Great idea, bad timing! I thought if I took him during his first nap time he would fall asleep in the car and stay asleep in the baby bjorn while I was there. Fall asleep in car- check. Stay asleep in baby bjorn- check. Partial awakenings during the tour leading to crying outbursts- CHECK! Nonetheless the $30 I paid to see the Terra Cotta Warriors in 30 minutes was worth it. We also made a quick run through the dinosaur exhibit...he will appreciate this more in a couple of years! It was worth a try though...I'm always up for taking him to new and exciting places! = )
