Here's a funny story....

so apparently Christopher is going to be in Parents magazine...nothing big...just a small little pic in the corner of a page...but still something pretty neato to put in the baby book! = ) I sent in a pic a long time ago and one of the editors e-mailed me this past week! She says to keep an eye out for his pic in the August issue...we shall see! Go Topher!! Way to be a stud! ; )

A day at the park!

We have this fantastic park in downtown Houston called Discovery Green! I highly recommend it to everyone! Chris and I took dada out there this weekend to show him what it was all about! We had fun! AND check out the new red wagon!

Christopher's Big Week!

Christopher has had quite the week so far (and it's only Friday!). On Tuesday he woke up with 2 teeth as shown below. Wednesday he started 'for real' crawling....a lot! He's been army crawling since 7 months and pulling up for awhile now but he has avoided the crawling on his hands and knees for quite some time....then on Thursday he took S-E-V-E-N steps!!! SEVEN!!! Little man thinks he can walk and he is starting to convince me of it too! He's still pretty wobbly but if you are within lunging distance of him he will try his darndest to walk over to you! Anyway, he's loving life and so are we!

Fun Times!

Christopher and cousin Nate got to hang out this past weekend...it was super fun! Also Christopher went to his first Astros game. The Astros totally stunk but the weather was awesome and Christopher seemed to have a great time!!

Holy Toledo!

I can't believe I am actually posting this because it is RIDICULOUSLY embarrassing for me but life is short so why not!?

Prepare yourself because when I first figured out my child had recorded me rapping and dancing to Shoop one morning I laughed until I cried and then until I couldn't breathe and then until I almost peed my pants so I thought this was worth posting. Please enjoy at my expense and don't mention this to me the next time we see each other. I hope this brightens your day! = )

3 Little Monkeys Jumping on The Bed...

Happy Easter Y'all!

Christopher met the Easter Bunny yesterday! As you can tell he was so excited (haha)!Here he is with his first Easter basket, compliments of Mama Q!For Easter we went to church (he was a mess-he couldn't sit still and was babbling as loud as he possibly could- Chris and I sat in the cry room during the sermon which was great because I could still hear it and Chris got to stare at himself in a mirror and laugh the whole time). Also during church he took his first step without assistance. Crazy! We then came home and had a great Sunday brunch with our families! A glorious day, indeed! = )

On another note, I took Chris to his 9 month appointment on Friday. He is 19lbs 10 oz (45%) and 29 inches long (75%). He is growing so quickly and becoming such a ham! He is really into pulling and standing up, walking with our help (which is killing our backs!) waving bye bye, clapping, dancing and making lots of noise! We are still working on sign language and every once in awhile I think he is responding....wishful thinking perhaps!
