Friday morning we woke up and had an incredible breakfast (eggs benedict with salmon!). I went to conference for a few hours (that's the whole purpose of this trip, right?!). Before heading to the zoo we went to the Ferry Landing on Coronado and ate pizza waterside. It sure does take 2-3x longer to do things when there is a kiddo involved (car seat, stroller, diaper changes, etc.) but well worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Charlie and Christopher do boy things and talk about boats. ; ) After lunch we went to the San Diego Zoo! It was a really cool zoo. We took a bus tour around the zoo initially then strolled around for an additional 2 hours or so. The animals were pretty interactive...must have been the fantabulous weather!
