We heart San Diego!

On Saturday we went to The Broken Yolk for breakfast in San Diego...eggs benedict (again...). Delish! I went to conference (again...) then we took a taxi boat from Coronado to Seaside Village to walk around a bit. We decided to have lunch at this great little restaurant on the water. It was perfect...beer, mimosas, perfect weather, great pizza (again...) then guess who decided to make a scene?!?....me? no. It was Chris. We had to leave our drinks behind and walk around. Of course he was perfect once we left the restaurant! He just wasn't having this whole sit in once place for too long thing. So we walked around for a bit more checking out the local artists, people watching (one of my favs), eating fresh baked cookies and enjoying the beautiful, clean air! We took the taxi boat back to the hotel to play and nap then headed out to this great restaurant called Peohe's! Chris was much better at this restaurant so we enjoyed some local grown brew and a Pu-Pu platter. I swear we giggled ordering this appetizer. Of note, the reason we ate so many appetizers this trip is because we would eat 'dinner' before dinner was even being served due to the time change and having a little one that goes to bed so early. Still great food!

Sunday we said goodbye to San Diego and flew back to Houston! Christopher was a bit fussier on this flight but still not too bad. We had a wonderful time traveling together on our first family vacation but nothing will ever top our home sweet home! = )
